Answer
Dante Gabriel Rossetti was a British poet, painter, illustrator and translator who was a key member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Although his poems are now considered to be more important than his paintings, during his lifetime Rossetti was better known for his paintings, which were often of religious or mythological subjects. He also designed stained glass windows, book illustrations and furniture.
