Answer
The Federalist Papers is not a book by David McCullough. It is a collection of 85 essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay under the pseudonym Publius. These essays were published in newspapers in New York, Philadelphia, and Boston from October 1787 to April 1788 and were intended to persuade the public to ratify the new Constitution of the United States.
