Answer
Commander David Scott led the Apollo 15 mission, the fourth successful lunar landing. He became the seventh person to walk on the Moon, along with James Irwin. Scott and Irwin spent three days exploring the lunar surface, collecting samples and conducting experiments. Their mission marked the first use of the Lunar Roving Vehicle, which allowed them to cover a greater distance and collect more samples than previous Apollo astronauts.
