Answer
The SDK–Chetnik formations surrendered in northwestern Italy in early May, 1945. These forces had been fighting against the Yugoslav Partisans and the communist-controlled Yugoslav government since 1941. They had been supported by the Axis powers, but after the Axis powers surrendered in 1945, the SDK–Chetnik formations were left without any support. They surrendered to the British forces, who then handed them over to the Yugoslav Partisans.
