One of Broadway's greatest leading men, Anthony Newley was a talented singer, dancer, actor and writer. He was born in London, England, in 1931. His parents were both actors, and he started performing at a young age. He made his Broadway debut in 1952, and went on to star in a number of successful musicals, including "Oliver!", "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off!" and "Sweet Charity".
