William Ralph Dean, known as Dixie Dean, was an English footballer who played as a centre-forward. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalscorers of all time. Dean played for several clubs, including Everton, Manchester United, and Notts County. He scored a record 60 goals in the 1927-28 season for Everton, a record that still stands today. Dean also represented England 16 times, scoring 18 goals.
