Don Mattingly was born in 1961. He is an American former baseball player who played first base for the New York Yankees for his entire 14-year major league career. He was a 14-time All-Star, an 11-time Silver Slugger Award winner, a five-time World Series champion, and a two-time American League Most Valuable Player. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.
