The answer, Silesian, refers to the political subdivision of Poland from which Tusk hailed in the Senate. Tusk, whose full name is Donald Franciszek Tusk, served in the Senate from 1997 to 2001 and again from 2007 to 2014, representing the electoral district of Gdańsk. During his second term in the Senate, he also held the position of Prime Minister of Poland from 2007 to 2014.
