Born on April 27, 1893, Draža Mihailović was a prominent Yugoslav soldier and the leader of the Chetnik movement during World War II. Initially cooperating with the Allies, he and his forces shifted towards anti-communist activities, leading to an eventual falling out with the former. Following the war, Mihailović was put on trial and executed by the Yugoslav communist government in 1946.
