Answer
Newark is the birthplace of Earl Baldwin. He was born there in 1867 and lived there until he was 10 years old. His family then moved to Stourport-on-Severn, where he spent the rest of his childhood. Baldwin went on to become a prominent politician, serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1923 to 1924 and again from 1924 to 1929.
