Edgar Douglas Adrian was an English physiologist. He was the 1st Baron Adrian, a Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine in 1932, jointly with Sir Charles Sherrington, for their work on the neuron. He is also credited with being one of the founders of neurophysiology.
