Edward Albee was an American playwright and screenwriter. He is best known for his works Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1962), A Delicate Balance (1966), and Seascape (1975). Albee's plays are often dark and satirical, and deal with themes such as marriage, infidelity, and the nature of reality.
