Edward Teller was a Hungarian-American nuclear physicist. He was born in Hungary and emigrated to the United States in 1941. He was one of the leading scientists involved in the development of the atomic bomb during World War II. After the war, he continued his work on nuclear weapons and also played a role in the development of the hydrogen bomb.
