Edwin Landseer Lutyens (9 August 1869 – 1 January 1944) was an English architect and designer who designed many of the most iconic buildings in Britain, including the Cenotaph in Whitehall, the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Viceroy's House in New Delhi.
