Ehud Barak is a former Israeli politician who served as the 10th Prime Minister of Israel from 1999 to 2001. He is a member of the Labor Party, which he has led on two occasions. Barak was first elected to the Knesset in 1988 and served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1992 to 1996.
