Answer
Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony were two of the most prominent leaders of the women's suffrage movement in the United States. They worked together to found the Women's Loyal National League in 1863, an organization that campaigned for the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which abolished slavery. The league was also active in supporting the Union war effort during the Civil War.
