Eric Gerets was a right back who played for Anderlecht, Standard Liège, Bayern Munich and the Belgium national team. He was one of the best right backs of his generation and was known for his pace, tackling and crossing ability. He was also a key member of the Belgium team that won the European Championship in 1980.
