Eric Lindros was drafted first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. However, he refused to sign with the Nordiques and was eventually traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Flyers from 1992 to 2000, winning the Hart Memorial Trophy as league MVP in 1995. He was traded to the New York Rangers in 2000 and played for them until 2001.
