Eric Radford was the first openly gay man to win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics. He and his partner, Meagan Duhamel, won the gold medal in the ice dancing competition at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Radford came out as gay in 2014, and he and Duhamel were the first openly gay couple to win a medal in the Winter Olympics.
