The Conservative Party, formerly known as the Conservative Party of Norway, is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. Led by Prime Minister Erna Solberg since May 2004, the party advocates for lower taxes, reduced government intervention, and increased individual freedom. It is the second-largest party in the Norwegian Parliament, holding 36 of the 169 seats. The party has been in government since 2013, forming a coalition with the Progress Party.
