The 2012 European Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2012, was the 14th UEFA European Championship, a quadrennial football tournament for men's national teams in Europe organized by UEFA. The tournament took place in Poland and Ukraine from 8 June to 1 July 2012. Roy Hodgson managed England during the tournament following the resignation of Fabio Capello.
