Fuad II was the King of Egypt from 1952 to 1953, after the death of his father Ahmed Fuad. He was a child at the time of his accession, and his reign was short-lived. In 1953, a revolution led by Gamal Abdel Nasser overthrew the monarchy and Egypt became a republic.
