Ismail Chirine was a diplomat who served as the Egyptian ambassador to France from 1945 to 1948. He was married to Fawzia, the daughter of King Farouk, from 1948 to 1954. After his divorce from Fawzia, Chirine served as the Egyptian ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1954 to 1956. He died in 1963.
