Campbell has had one recurrence of an Anterior cruciate ligament injury. He injured his ACL during a match in December 2013 and underwent surgery to repair it. He returned to playing in September 2014, but re-injured his ACL in January 2015. He underwent surgery again and missed the rest of the season.
