Fritz Haber was a German chemist who is considered one of the fathers of chemical warfare and the Haber-Bosch process for synthesizing ammonia. He was also a known nationalist and a supporter of the Nazi Party. After the Nazis came to power, Haber was forced to resign from his position at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute and flee Germany. He died in Switzerland in 1934.
