Fritzie Zivic was an American boxer who was born in 1906 in San Francisco, California. His parents were immigrants from Croatia, and he grew up in a Croatian-American community in the city. He began boxing at an early age and went on to have a successful professional career, winning the world welterweight title in 1933. He retired from boxing in 1945 and died in 1985.
