Geoff Hurst, a World Cup winner with England in 1966, returned to England in 1991 to manage non-league Telford United. He remained in charge for four years, during which time the team won the Northern Premier League and the FA Trophy. After leaving Telford, Hurst managed teams in the Football League, including West Bromwich Albion and Port Vale.
