Al McCoy (1921-1993) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1938 to 1956. He was a two-time World Middleweight Champion, holding the title from 1943 to 1944, and again from 1946 to 1948. In 1943, McCoy won the World Middleweight Championship by defeating George Chip. He defended the title twice before losing it to Tony Zale in 1944.
