Answer
The Fifth Column was a Scottish folk band formed in 1969. Gerry Rafferty, along with his brother Joe Rafferty, Billy Connolly, and Tam Harvey, composed its members. The band signed with Transatlantic Records and released two albums, "The Fifth Column" (1969) and "Second Column" (1970). While they achieved some success, Rafferty's solo career overshadowed the band's popularity, leading to its dissolution in 1971.
