Gianni Rivera joined AC Milan in 1960, after he was discovered by the club's scouts while playing for his local team, Alessandria. He made his debut for the club in the 1960–61 season, and went on to become one of the club's most iconic players. During his time with AC Milan, Rivera won three Serie A titles, two European Cups, and two Intercontinental Cups.
