Answer
Gotse Delchev, born in 1872, was a prominent figure in the Macedonian liberation movement during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He played a key role in organizing and leading the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO), which sought autonomy or independence for Macedonia from the Ottoman Empire. Delchev's revolutionary activities and his ultimate sacrifice in 1903 made him a symbol of Macedonian national identity and self-determination.
