Yale University renamed one of its colleges in honor of Grace Hopper. Hopper was a pioneering computer scientist and naval officer. She was one of the first programmers for the Mark I computer and is credited with coining the term "computer bug." Hopper also served as the first female admiral in the U.S. Navy.
