Graham Bell was an American inventor who is credited with inventing the telephone. He was also a pioneer in the field of broadcasting, and in 1915 he formed a partnership with Ed Leigh to create the first commercial radio station in the United States. The station, called KDKA, was located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it broadcast the results of the 1916 presidential election.
