He played in Major League Baseball for 23 seasons from 1986 to 2008, for the Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Diego Padres. He is considered one of the greatest pitchers of all time, and is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
