Hans Frank died on 16 October 1946. He was a German Nazi lawyer and politician who was the Governor-General of Nazi-occupied Poland from 1939 to 1945. Frank was found guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging at the Nuremberg Trials.
