Answer
Sugar Ray Leonard retired permanently from boxing after being knocked out by Hector Camacho in 1997. Leonard had been one of the most successful boxers of all time, winning multiple world titles in five different weight classes. He retired from boxing in 1982, but returned in 1987 for a rematch with Marvin Hagler. He lost that fight, and retired again.
