Answer
Heike Drechsler recorded a legal best of 7.48 metres in long jump in 1988. She had previously set a world record of 7.40 metres in 1985, but this mark was later disqualified due to a wind assistance of +2.1 m/s, which was in excess of the 2.0 m/s limit. Drechsler's 1988 jump was wind-assisted at +0.7 m/s, but it still remains as the second-longest legal jump in history.
