Answer
Müller was not put on trial at the subsequent Nuremberg Trials. Only 24 high-ranking Nazi leaders, military personnel, and collaborators were tried before the International Military Tribunal, set up by the Allies to prosecute war criminals. Müller evaded capture by the Western Allies and is presumed to have committed suicide in Berlin during the final days of the war.
