Henri George Lansbury was an English politician and social activist. He was the leader of the Labour Party from 1931 to 1935, and served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Bow and Bromley from 1910 to 1950. Lansbury was a pacifist, and opposed all forms of war and violence. He was also a strong advocate for social justice, and worked to improve the lives of the working class.
