Henry Adams died on 27 March 1918 in Washington, D.C., at the age of 80. He was born on 16 February 1838 in Boston, Massachusetts, and was the grandson of U.S. President John Quincy Adams. Adams was a historian, novelist, and diplomat, and is best known for his book The Education of Henry Adams.
