Henry James Hope (1808 – 1863) was a British merchant and banker who, along with his brothers Alexander and William, was a partner in the Hope & Co. banking house, based in London. The firm was one of the most successful banking houses in Europe in the 19th century. Henry James Hope was also a politician, serving as a member of the British House of Commons from 1831 to 1847.
