Answer
Hieronymus Bosch was a Dutch painter who lived from around 1450 to 1516. He is known for his fantastic and often disturbing paintings, which are full of symbolism. Around 25 of his paintings are attributed to him, although some scholars believe that there may be more. His paintings are often interpreted as religious allegories, but they also contain elements of fantasy and mythology.
