Suhrawardy was a Pakistani politician who served as the third Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1956 to 1957. During his premiership, he strengthened diplomatic ties with China. He visited China in 1956 and signed a number of agreements, including a trade agreement and a cultural agreement. He also established the Pakistan-China Friendship Association.
