Iago Aspas joined Liverpool in the summer of 2013. At the time, the manager of the club was Brendan Rodgers. Aspas was signed as a replacement for Luis Suárez, who had left the club to join Barcelona. Aspas struggled to make an impact at Liverpool, and he was eventually sold to Sevilla in the summer of 2015.
