Answer
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia officially formed in 1932, with the unification of the four regions of Nejd, Hijaz, Al-Ahsa, and Asir by Abdulaziz Al Saud. This was the culmination of a series of conquests that had begun in the 19th century, and resulted in the unification of most of the Arabian Peninsula under Saudi rule.
