The Imperial Japanese Navy Academy (IJNA) was the premier military educational institution of the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1871 until 1945. It was located in Tsukiji, Tokyo. The academy was the alma mater of many notable Japanese naval officers, including Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the commander of the Japanese fleet at the Battle of Midway.
