Ivan Sutherland is one of the foundations of modern computer graphics. He developed the first system for interactive computer graphics, called Sketchpad, in 1962. Sketchpad allowed users to draw images on a computer screen using a light pen, and it was the first system to allow users to create and edit 3D models. Sutherland's work laid the foundation for many of the modern computer graphics techniques that we use today.
