Ivan was Andrić's original first name. He later changed it to Ivo, which is the name he is commonly known by. Andrić was a Serbian writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1961. He is best known for his novels "The Bridge on the Drina" and "Bosnian Chronicle".
