Lij Iyasu was an emperor of Ethiopia from 1913 to 1916. He was the son of Emperor Menelik II and his wife, Empress Taytu Betul. Lij Iyasu was a controversial figure, and his reign was marked by instability and conflict. He was eventually deposed by his cousin, Tafari Makonnen, who became Emperor Haile Selassie.
