Jock Britton was a professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur, and for the Scottish national team. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on 8 September 1915. He made his debut for Tottenham in 1936, and went on to play for the club for 14 seasons. During his time at Tottenham, he helped the club win the FA Cup in 1949.
